12. DATA RETENTION
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including legal, accounting, tax, fraud-prevention and dispute-resolution requirements.
Our usual retention approach is:

• Customer-account information: while the account remains active and for a reasonable period afterwards, unless earlier deletion is requested and we have no lawful reason to retain it.
• Customer-service communications: generally up to two years after the matter is closed, unless needed for an order record, dispute or legal claim.
• Marketing information: until you unsubscribe, withdraw consent or the information is no longer needed. We may retain minimal suppression information so that we continue to respect your opt-out.
• Advertising and analytics information: according to the retention controls used by Shopify, Meta, Google and any other relevant provider, and only for as long as reasonably necessary for measurement, security and business analysis.
• Fraud and security records: for as long as reasonably necessary to protect our store, customers and payment systems or to resolve an investigation or dispute.
We may anonymise information so it can no longer identify you. Anonymised information may be retained for analytics and business purposes.
13. SECURITY
We use reasonable organisational and technical safeguards designed to protect personal information. These include Shopify’s platform-security measures and access controls within our business.
However, no website, transmission method or storage system is completely secure. Please do not send highly sensitive information through ordinary email or other insecure channels.
14. AUTOMATED FRAUD SCREENING
Shopify, payment providers and fraud-prevention services may use automated systems to assess orders for possible fraud or security risks. A flagged order may be delayed, reviewed manually, cancelled or refunded where reasonably necessary to protect us, our customers or payment systems.
